Mr. TrusteePants In yesterday's election, Andrew was a candidate for a second term as village trustee. Four years ago, when he was first elected to the board, he didn't have any competition. It wasn't much of a nail biter, though losing to the write-in candidate "Your Mom" would have been humiliating. At the time, Andrew wasn't registered to vote in Towanda elections, so he couldn't even vote for himself. How sad.
This time around, 5 people vied for 3 spots on the village board. Andrew showed great forethought in registering to vote beforehand. We cast our votes yesterday afternoon and then spent the night at the campaign headquarters (our bed) to watch the results come in (The Daily Show).

The political dynamo did it again! He earned four more years of hearing complaints about water bills and neighbors' pets. I'd be lying if I said his political power wasn't super sexy. True story: Barack Obama began his political career on the Towanda Village Board. I see great things in Andrew's future. Maybe one day I'll be the First Lady of Towanda.
Congratulations Andrew, and godspeed.
Seriously, don't ask, because I'm still figuring it out. They need to give you an instruction manual or something.
Wayne is a trustee of our neighborhood which is probably similar in size to Towanda...maybe the two of you should compare notes!!! Ha Ha!!!
